Who We Are

Welcome to The Candle Bar! We are a mother daughter owned small business made up of myself, Caitlynn, and my mom, Heather. The concept of The Candle Bar began during the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020, but came to light in 2021. I have always been obsessed with candles so I thought this would be a great way to allow anyone and everyone to create their own perfect scent and custom candle! I wanted to bring my love of candles to you!

We have spent nights and weekends (with the help of family & friends) creating and renovating The Candle Bar, located in Puyallup, WA. We spent months finding the right location and knew this was the perfect spot. Formerly Elvins & Elite School of Dance, it is a staple of the downtown area. My mom & I were both raised in Puyallup and are proud to be a part of this growing community.

Candle making is not as easy as it looks and definitely harder than we expected it to be! There are so many steps that go into candle making; from choosing the right vessel, wick, wax, fragrance oil, curing times & so much more. We did the work, tested, and sought out products to provide you with a safe, quality candle. Candles that we burn in our own homes.

When you come to The Candle Bar, we want to take the complexity out of candle making and allow you to sit back, relax & have fun! Bring your friends, family, loved ones and come make some candles with us!

Each session is an hour long, but it may only take 30-45 minutes for the candle creating process. Feel free to spend the rest of the time hanging out, taking photos at our Instagram wall, or pick up something in our retail area.
