Welcome to The Candle Bar! We are a mother-daughter owned small business made up of myself, Caitlynn, and my mom, Heather. The concept of The Candle Bar began during the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020 and officially came to life in 2021. I have always been obsessed with candles, and this business started as a way to let anyone and everyone create their own perfect, custom scent. We wanted to bring our love of candles directly to you, and now, we’re doing just that!
What started as a brick-and-mortar dream in downtown Puyallup has now evolved into a mobile, pop-up experience. While we are so grateful for our roots in Puyallup, where my mom and I were both raised, we are excited to bring The Candle Bar beyond one location and into our community in a whole new way. You can now find us at pop-up events, markets, private parties, and special gatherings, where we bring the candle-making experience straight to you! We also offer custom orders, both big and small, whether you need favors for a wedding, corporate gifts, branded candles, or a special personalized order just because.
Candle making is not as easy as it looks and definitely harder than we expected it to be! There are so many steps that go into creating a high quality candle, from choosing the right vessel, wick, wax, and fragrance oil to understanding proper curing times and more. We’ve done the research, testing, and sourcing so we can provide you with a safe, beautiful candle that we proudly burn in our own homes.
